-welcome-

-hello-

Why hello there!  My name is Renee Hattaway and I want to personally thank you for taking your time to explore my passion here at Photo Focus Photography.  I was married to my amazing husband, Matt,  on October 10, 2015. Together we have our beautiful daughter, Abigail, who was born in June of 2017.  We also have our 3 fur-babies.  Luke a Saint Bernard, Levi a Lab/Hound mix and Hank a Great Pyrenees.  We currently live in Fond du Lac, WI but dreaming to build our next home by year 2022! One with lots of natural light and a first floor laundry ;)

I started my love of photography as a young teen with a small Kodak camera that I bejeweled with pink and silver rhinestones.  I started with a dream, a dream to capture YOUR memories; a dream to bring smiles to my client's faces.  I never thought in a million years Photo Focus would be what it is today, but I have YOU to thank! Thank YOU for being so amazing - it means the world to have the support.

I hope you enjoy your time viewing what I love to do here at Photo Focus.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.  I look forward to hearing from you!

-Renee

-what to expect-

When booking a session with Photo Focus, you can expect quick responses, great prices, friendly conversations, a professional photographer with a plethora of knowledge and you can definitely expect to gain a friendship by the end of your session.  I am a down to earth girl who loves to capture emotions and not just smiles.  Of course we will have our traditional posed images but I love mixing it up, having some fun and capturing those candid images.

-location,location,location-

Locations for your photographs play a HUGE role into how your photos will look..and feel! I will always ask for suggestions.  If no ideas come to mind, I do have a long list of places that I will forever recommend. Tall grassy fields, woods, rivers, bridges, brick walls, city skyline, lakes, lighthouses, beaches and barns. You name it, I more than likely know of a place or I will try my hardest to find the perfect spot for your session.  I am able to supply props according to the different surroundings and ages of the members at the session.  I love to take advantage of what the location has to offer us for props as well.  If you have any belongings from home you want to incorporate into your photographs, bring them!! :)  A favorite chair grandpa made, blanket, signs, sports equipment etc.

-what to wear-

Wear something that is most importantly..comfortable!  You want your photos to portray YOU!  Does that mean jeans with holes/stains with a ripped flannel?  If you want to..sure!  Jeans are always nice in photos.  they are comfortable and paired with a nice top makes the perfect outfit for your session.  Try to stay away from small busy prints (polka dots, small busy floral prints, thin stripes etc.)  Large amounts of busy prints can take away from you and your family.  accessorize with prints.  A floral scarf, polka dot tank top with a solid cardigan etc. If more than one person in the photos..DON'T MATCH!  :)  Choose a handful of colors to work with and base your outfits off of those colors.  Blues, greens, purple,s reds and neutrals are always great colors. Stay away from neon/highlighter colors.  If you need help, please ask! :D
